Signing and Numbering Process for Limited-Edition Prints
At frasiola.com/shop, every limited-edition print is a unique piece of art, personally signed and numbered by Paraskevi Frasiola. Here’s how the process works to ensure authenticity and exclusivity:
1. Limited Edition Prints
- Each print is part of a fixed, limited run (e.g., 50, 100, or 200 prints).
- Once the edition is sold out, no further prints of that artwork will be produced in the same format or size, ensuring exclusivity for collectors.
2. Numbering the Prints
- Every print is assigned a unique edition number (e.g., 12/50).
- The first number (12) indicates the print’s position in the edition.
- The second number (50) indicates the total size of the edition.
- The numbering is written by hand in pencil or ink on the front or back of the print.
3. Signing the Prints
- Each print is personally signed by Paraskevi Frasiola in the bottom margin or designated area.
- The signature confirms the print’s authenticity and adds value as a collectable item.
4. Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
- Every limited-edition print comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
- The COA includes:
- Artist’s Name: Paraskevi Frasiola.
- Title of the Artwork.
- Year of Creation.
- Medium and Paper Type (e.g., giclée print on archival paper).
